Corporate Involvement

At MS Research Australia, we form partnerships with businesses and organisations to support our goal of accelerating research to find a cause and cure for MS.

It is through the generous support of our partners, sponsors and donors that we are able to fund over 40 research projects this year.

Partnerships with MSRA can be in a variety of ways and are not restricted to the following;

  • Financial donations
  • Gifts in-kind and Pro-bono support
  • Boardroom lunches
  • Workplace giving

To find out more about becoming a corporate partner please email or contact Mandy Lee, Development and Events Manager on 02 9468 8390.

Financial Donations

If your company or organisation would like to make a tax deductible donation to MSRA via our online donation system, please click here. If you would prefer to make your donation by mail or over the phone please click here for details.

Gifts in-kind and Pro Bono services

Although MSRA is proud to say that 94 cents in every dollar received goes to research, in kind support of either goods or services will assist in reducing the overhead costs further and will allow more funds to be allocated to the research where it is most needed.

For example your organisation could provide in-kind support by donating products that can be used for fundraising, materials for office use or pro bono services like graphic design and legal advice.

Boardroom Lunches

Throughout the year MSRA organises several boardroom lunches where senior MS researchers and scientists discuss their current MS projects with leaders of the Business Community.

Organisations who have hosted the lunches have provided a boardroom inclusive of catering as well as inviting key staff & associates who have been engaged is MS research discussions and actively participated in fundraising initiatives.

Organisations who have generously hosted these discussions include Macquarie Group Foundation, Deloitte, Blake Dawson, Caliburn Partnerships, Bain and Co, Deacons, Russell Reynolds, Wilson HTM and the Australian Industry Group.

If you are interested in knowing more about these events, or would like to be a host, please contact Mandy Lee by email or phone 02 9468 8390.

Workplace giving

By making regular tax deductible donations through payroll, employees are providing an ongoing source of funds that make a real difference to the lives of people with MS. Some companies provide additional financial support by matching their employee's donations.

If you would like to find out more about supporting MSRA through workplace giving, please contact Mandy Lee by email or phone 02 9468 8390.

TrishLogo NEW 1.jpg

The Trish MS Research Foundation was founded in memory of Trish Langsford who bravely battled MS. She was diagnosed at age 23, in the prime of her life. The progression of MS left her lying in a nursing home bed completely paralysed, unable to eat, speak or communicate with her loved ones. She sadly passed away peacefully on 16 March 2002.

The Trish MS Research Foundation’s ultimate goal is to find a cure for MS – so that others do not have to go through what Trish and her family went through.
