Vacation Scholarships
Aim: These scholarships are granted to undergraduate students who plan to undertake up to 10 week research project in MS during Semester break. Scholarships will be granted for up to $10,000.
Eligibility: All applicants must be undergraduates at an Australian university or medical institute.
Deadline: Applications close 3 August 2012
MSRA Postgraduate Scholarships
Aim: These scholarships are granted to students entering their Honours year, and will be granted $27,200 a year for up to three years.
Eligibility: Successful applicants will have already qualified for Honours, and obtained a Supervisor.
Deadline: Applications close 3 August 2012
These scholarships can also, and are encouraged to, be sought in conjunction with NHMRC Betty Cuthbert Scholarships in order to maximise your chances of receiving funding.
MSRA NHMRC Betty Cuthbert Scholarships
Aim: These Honours students will receive $26,200 a year for three years.
Eligibility: Successful recipients of this scholarship must have qualified for Honours and obtained a supervisor. Additionally, applicants MUST apply to both MSRA and NHMRC grant rounds.
Deadline: Applications close 3 August 2012. These scholarships are encouraged to be sought in conjunction with MSRA Postgraduate Scholarships
MSRA Postgraduate Scholarship applicants will automatically be considered for a Betty Cuthbert Postgraduate scholarship. However in order to be considered for a possible co-funding opportunity you must also complete an application to NHMRC as well (NHMRC applications close 12 July 2012).
Trish MS Research Foundation Scholarships
Aim: MSRA will advise the Trish MS Research Foundation on the best candidates, with particular emphasis placed on opportunities attracting matching funds. Scholarships will be given for $28,200 a year for up to three years.
Eligibility: These students will have qualified for Honours and have a supervisor, entering their Honours year.
